MIRACLE OF ZAMZAM WATER WELL

Zamzam water is associated to some of the most significant personalities in world history: the Hazrat Ibraheem (AS) and hazrat Ismael (AS) and  Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), as well as Hazrat Ismaeel’s mother Bibi Hajira. According to tradition of Islam, Prophet Ibraheem (AS) rebuilt the Bait-ul-ALLAH (House of ALLAH), a building which had been constructed originally by Prophet Adam (AS), and today is known as the Kaaba (direction or Qiblah), a building towards that all Muslims around the world face in namaz (prayer), five times every day. Well of Zamzam is situated approximately 20 meters east of the Kaaba. Zamzam well is situated in Makkah, which is the heart of the pilgrimage Hajj. Well of Zamzam is 35 meters deep and topped by an elegant and well designed dome. The miracle of Zamzam water is still flowing today. SubhanALLAH! The difference between water of Zamzam and other water was in the quantity of magnesium salts and calcium. The content of these was slightly higher in water of Zamzam. This may be why this Zamzam water refreshes tired Hajis,

but more considerably, the water contains fluorides that have an effectual germicidal action. This well of Zamzam has never dried up. On the contrary, it has fulfilled always and satisfied the demand for water. It has always maintained the same and unchanged salt composition and taste ever since it came into existence. Its portability has always been universally recognized as pilgrims from all around the world visit the Kaabah every year for Umrah and Hajj, but has never complained about it. Instead, pilgrims always enjoyed the water of Zamzam that refreshes them. Water tastes different at different spaces. Water of Zamzam appeal has always been universal. This water has never been chlorinated or chemically treated as is the case with water pumped into the different cities. Vegetation and Biological growth usually take place in most water wells. This makes the water indigestible owing to the growth of algae causing odour and taste problems All traditions agree that ALLAH Almighty created the well to provide Bibi Hajra, the wife of Prophet Ibraheem (AS), and her baby Prophet Ismaeel (AS) with water in the hot, around the year 2000 BC, dry valley they were in. In her desperate seek for water, Bibi Hajra ran seven times back and forth in the scorching or boiling heat between the two hills of Safa and Marwa to provide for Hazrat Ismaeel (AS) who was dying of thirst. Nowadays, this same act is essential rite of Hajj pilgrimage for all Muslims, must complete. The first thing Bibi Hajra had to do then was to look for some water in the area. She was seeking for it while watching at her son Hazrat Ismaeel (AS), ALLAH Almighty saw her effort and amazingly blessed the spot with a water spring.
