Prices start at around £725 per person for a 3-star, seven-night trip and rise with hotel rating, proximity to the mosques, trip length and the time of year. Umrah flights from UK airports
Your package includes return flights, and we book from all the major UK airports. Direct flights to Jeddah are available from London Heathrow Airport, Manchester Airport and Birmingham Airport on carriers including Saudia. From other UK airports, including London Gatwick Airport, and for pilgrims flying into Madinah, we arrange connecting flights via a major hub. Flying into Jeddah puts you closest to Makkah to begin your Umrah, while a Madinah arrival lets you start in the city of the Prophet (peace be upon him). We’ll advise the routing that suits your itinerary and budget.
Hotels near the Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi
Where you stay shapes your whole trip, so we book hotels chosen for comfort and, above all, for how close they are to prayer. The hotels below are among those we currently book across our 3, 4 and 5-star packages; all distances are approximate walking distances and are confirmed for your specific hotel at the time of booking.

Your Umrah, day by day
Here is how a typical seven-night Umrah unfolds, splitting your time between Makkah and Madinah. Your exact schedule depends on flight times and whether you arrive via Jeddah or Madinah.
Days 1 to 4: Makkah and your Umrah
After landing at Jeddah, you transfer to your Makkah hotel. If you fly in via Jeddah you’ll enter the state of Ihram at the Miqat, often on the plane, before performing your Umrah: Tawaf, seven circuits around the Kaaba; Sa’i, walking between Safa and Marwah; and Tahallul, trimming the hair to complete the rite. The days that follow are for worship at Masjid al-Haram: praying in the Haram, drinking Zamzam water, further Tawaf, and quiet reflection.
Days 4 to 7: Madinah and ziyarah
You travel on to Madinah and check in near Masjid an-Nabawi, where you can pray at the Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) and, permit allowing, visit the Rawdah. A guided ziyarah takes in the major sites: Quba Mosque, the first mosque in Islam; Masjid al-Qiblatain, the mosque of the two qiblahs; Mount Uhud; and the Baqi cemetery. In Makkah, optional visits include Jabal al-Noor (the Cave of Hira) and Jabal Thawr. Your final day is for last prayers before your transfer to Jeddah Airport or Madinah Airport for the return flight to the UK.
Umrah visa 2026 and Nusuk support
For 2026, all Umrah visas and hotel bookings are arranged through Nusuk, the official platform of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and using it is mandatory. We provide full Nusuk support and guidance: we help you set up your account, complete your application correctly and book compliant accommodation, so nothing holds up your travel.
A few essentials to know for 2026:
- From 1 July 2026, the Saudi Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) replaced the EVW for eligible travellers.
- The MenACWY (meningitis ACWY) vaccination is mandatory and must be given at least 10 days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia.
- Women aged 18 and over may perform Umrah without a mahram.
We’ll confirm exactly which documents you need for your nationality and dates before you book.
When is the ideal time to perform Umrah in 2026?
Umrah can be performed at any time of year, so the ideal time depends on what you want from the trip. Ramadan is especially blessed: an authentic hadith equates the reward of Umrah in Ramadan with that of Hajj, though it is also the busiest and most expensive season. Ramadan is expected to fall from mid-to-late February into March 2026.
For cooler weather, thinner crowds and lower prices, the quieter months after Hajj, through the Islamic months of Muharram and Safar, are ideal, as is the winter window around December. Spring offers a middle ground of mild weather before the summer heat. If you’re travelling with children or older relatives, the off-peak months make for a calmer, easier pilgrimage.
When to book your 2026 Umrah
When should you book your 2026 Umrah package? As a rough guide:
- Three to six months ahead for Ramadan or December, since the busiest periods sell out first and booking early secures the most central hotels.
- Six to eight weeks ahead for the quieter months, which leaves time to arrange your visa through Nusuk and complete your MenACWY vaccination, needed at least 10 days before you arrive.
- Last-minute Umrah Packages: we can often still help within a couple of weeks of departure, subject to flight and hotel availability.
Booking earlier almost always means more choice and lower prices; leaving it late narrows both.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an Umrah package cost from the UK in 2026?
Our 2026 Umrah packages start from £725 per person for a 3-star, seven-night trip. Prices rise with hotel rating, how close you stay to the mosques, the length of your trip and the season. Ramadan and school holidays cost the most, while the months after Hajj are the most affordable.
Are there dedicated Ramadan and December Umrah departures?
Yes. We offer dedicated December, Ramadan and Easter packages, and can arrange Umrah in any month of 2026. December and Ramadan are the busiest periods, so we recommend booking early.
Do you offer cheap or last-minute Umrah packages?
Yes. Our 3-star packages start from £725 per person, and we release deals through the year. Last-minute packages tend to appear when airlines discount seats close to departure, so ask us what is available for your dates.
Is my booking financially protected?
Flight-inclusive packages are protected under ATOL (10416) against the financial failure of 7 Continents Travel Ltd, and you receive an ATOL certificate when you pay. ATOL protection applies to flight-inclusive bookings.
Can I customise or upgrade my package?
Yes. You can adjust your hotel rating, room type, trip length and flights, and add extras such as breakfast or a specific hotel. Tell us what you would like and we will build a tailored quote.
What is the walking distance from your hotels to the Haram?
It depends on the package. Our 5-star Makkah hotels, such as Makarem Ajyad and Swissôtel Makkah, are approx. a 5-minute walk (around 400 m) from Masjid al-Haram, while 3 and 4-star hotels sit a little further out at approx. 750 to 900 m. In Madinah, our hotels are typically within approx. 100 to 200 m of Masjid an-Nabawi, rising to around 600 m for some 3-star options. Exact distances are confirmed at booking.
What is the ideal season to travel for Umrah in 2026?
Umrah can be performed year-round. Ramadan (expected mid-to-late February into March 2026) carries the greatest reward but is the busiest and most expensive period. The quieter months after Hajj and the winter period around December offer cooler weather, fewer crowds and lower prices.
Which UK airports do your Umrah flights depart from?
We book return flights from all major UK airports. Direct flights to Jeddah are available from London Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham; from other airports, and for arrivals into Madinah, we arrange connecting flights via a major hub.

Yes, She can. Saudi policy now permits any woman of 18 or older to make the journey without a mahram accompanying her. Our women’s packages provide secure, central accommodation and female-friendly group arrangements.
Are any vaccinations compulsory for Umrah in 2026?
Yes. The MenACWY (meningitis ACWY) vaccination is mandatory and must be given at least 10 days before you arrive in Saudi Arabia. We will remind you of the requirements in good time before you travel.
How does the Umrah visa work, and where does Nusuk come in?
Yes. For 2026, Umrah visas and accommodation are arranged through Nusuk, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s official platform, and using it is mandatory. We provide Nusuk support and guidance to help you set up your account and complete your application correctly.
What is included in your Umrah package?
Every package includes return flights from the UK, hotel stays in Makkah and Madinah, airport and inter-city transfers, Nusuk support for your visa, and guided ziyarah. Daily breakfast is included on 5-star packages.
How do I decide which Umrah package is right for me?
Start with your budget and dates, then decide how close to the Haram you want to stay and how long you want in each city. 3-star packages keep costs down; 4-star adds comfort a little closer in; 5-star puts you within a few minutes’ walk of Masjid al-Haram. Tell us your priorities and we will recommend the package that fits.

No paid reviews. No scripts. Just honest words from those who travelled with us.
I had the pleasure of having Adam Khan who helped me create a umrah package that was tailored to myself and my family. Everything that was done by Adam went according to plan and throughout the entire time Adam was very helpful in explaining, from the minor details to the overall trip.
We had family booking. Best package, transportation was fist class. Hotels were in decent distance from Haram. Brother Aqeel was always available via phone if needed. I would recommend them for Umrah hajj packages.
I had a great experience with MAKKAH tour for our Umrah trip in Feb-25. The booking process was smooth and hassle-free, and Alim went above and beyond to check in with us regularly, ensuring everything was on track. He made sure the transport company was arriving on time and that our journey went smoothly.
Aqeel provided outstanding 5-star service throughout our Umrah trip. From arranging flights, hotels, and transportation to ensuring everything ran smoothly, his attention to detail and professionalism were exceptional. He made the entire journey stress-free and seamless. Highly recommended for anyone planning Umrah.
