Each package includes return flights, a hotel in Makkah, a hotel in Madinah, airport and inter-city transfers, and Nusuk visa support, with a choice of 3-, 4-, or 5-star hotels across 7, 10 or 14 nights. November is one of the easier months to travel. Summer is over, and the December rush has not started, so you get milder weather, a quieter Haram, and lower prices than in most other months. Why UK pilgrims choose November for Umrah
November rarely tops the peak-season lists, and that is part of its appeal. Daytime temperatures in Makkah usually land in the high 20s to mid-30s Celsius, with Madinah a degree or two behind; once the sun drops, both cities cool into the high teens and low 20s. After a Gulf summer, that shift alone makes Tawaf and Sa'i far more manageable, which matters if elderly parents or young children are travelling with you.
The timing does the rest. Falling clear of Ramadan, the main school breaks and the year-end rush, November brings thinner queues at the Mataf, an easier path towards the Black Stone, and more rooms free close to the Haram. Airlines and hotels price the month in the dip between their autumn and winter highs, so a trip that would cost more in December can often be booked for less a few weeks earlier.

Which package fits your November trip?
Our November Umrah packages from UK come in three tiers: 3, 4 and 5-star. They share the same essentials, so the main differences are the hotel standard and how close you stay to the mosques.
3-Star November Umrah Packages
Our 3-star November Umrah packages, from £915pp, are the budget-friendly choice. They suit students, solo pilgrims and cost-conscious families who want a cheap November Umrah that still covers the essentials. Return flights, Nusuk visa support and transfers all come as standard. In Makkah, you could stay at Al Tayseer Towers or Emaar Al Khalil, both a short walk from Masjid al-Haram; in Madinah, at Swiss International Madinah, Zowar International or Odst Al Madinah, a short walk from Masjid an-Nabawi. We confirm the exact hotel and distance on your quote.
4-Star November Umrah Packages
The 4-star November Umrah packages, from £980pp, sit in the middle: more room, better facilities, and the tier most families and couples choose. You still get return flights, Nusuk visa support and transfers, now with upgraded hotels in each city. In Makkah you might book Emaar Grand Hotel, Emaar Elite Hotel or Palestine Hotel Makkah, each a short walk from Masjid al-Haram; in Madinah, Saja Al Madinah, Grand Plaza Badr Al Maqam or Emaar Al Mekhtan, each a short walk from Masjid an-Nabawi.
5-Star November Umrah Packages
Our 5-star November Umrah packages, from £1,200pp, are the luxury tier, with 5-star hotels near the two Harams and private transfers on request. Return flights, Nusuk visa support and transfers are all included. In Makkah, that means names like Jabal Omar Marriott Makkah, Shaza Makkah or Fairmont Clock Royal Tower, each a short walk from Masjid al-Haram; in Madinah, Pullman Zamzam Madinah, Dallah Taibah or Dar Al Eiman Al Haram Hotel, each a short walk from Masjid an-Nabawi.
What every November package covers
Whichever tier you land on, the spine of the package stays the same:
• Return flights from your UK departure airport, timed to the dates you give us.
• A hotel in Makkah and a hotel in Madinah at your chosen standard, each measured against Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi.
• Nusuk visa support: hands-on help through the Nusuk platform, which Saudi Arabia requires for both the visa and the hotel booking.
• Ground transfers throughout: airport to Makkah, Makkah across to Madinah, and back to the airport for the flight home.
• A UK team you can reach before you fly and while you are away: phone 0203 195 8700 between 10 am and 6 pm, or WhatsApp 07418 378756.
How long should you go for?
Every Umrah package divides your nights between the two cities. Three lengths cover most UK schedules:

Getting there: flights and transfers
Every November package is built on return flights. Direct flights to Jeddah run with Saudia from London Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham, and the Heathrow to Jeddah leg takes roughly six to seven hours. For Madinah, London Gatwick now has a direct service, which we can include where it fits your dates. If you are flying from Leeds Bradford, Glasgow or another UK airport, we arrange a connecting route to suit you. Your airport transfers and the road transfer between Makkah and Madinah are included in every package.
Your Umrah visa, Nusuk and the Rawdah
Since the Nusuk platform became mandatory, your Umrah visa and your accommodation both have to be booked through it. Saudi Arabia also updated its entry routes in 2026: the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) replaced the earlier EVW from 1 July 2026. Our team provides Nusuk support and guidance, so your application and booking go through cleanly with nothing missed. Keep half an eye on your passport too; it needs at least six months left from the day you travel.
If praying in the Rawdah is on your list, those slots are reserved through the Nusuk app too, and we will talk you through the steps. And to settle a common worry: women aged 18 or over can now perform Umrah without a mahram, with no mahram certificate needed for the visa. Our Umrah visa page has the full details.
The vaccination you will need
One health requirement is fixed: the MenACWY meningitis vaccination, which Saudi Arabia mandates for every pilgrim and which must be given no later than 10 days before departure. Your GP surgery or a travel clinic can administer it and issue the certificate you will carry. While you are there, it is worth arranging enough of any regular medication to last the whole trip.
The rites, and where to go for Ziyarat
Umrah follows a set order: entering Ihram, performing Tawaf around the Kaaba, then Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Once the rites are complete, most pilgrims set aside time for Ziyarat. Around Madinah that usually takes in Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi; closer to Makkah, the sites include Jabal al-Noor, Jabal Thawr, Mina and Arafat. Our guided Ziyarat puts each place in context rather than simply driving past it.
Planning a family or group trip
Bringing the family or a wider party along? We will arrange connecting and family rooms, keep everyone on the same flights wherever the schedule allows, and steer you towards a package that keeps the group together. It is worth raising a larger party early, since the room blocks nearest the mosques tend to go first. See our group Umrah packages, or ask us to price a private family booking.
Booking November Umrah from London, Manchester, Birmingham and beyond
We fly pilgrims out from right across the country. If you would rather start from a page built around your city, we have dedicated November Umrah options for London, Manchester and Birmingham. Or just tell us your closest airport, and we will build the routing back from there. Bradford, Glasgow, Leicester and other UK cities are all covered on connecting routes. If November does not suit your dates, our full range of Umrah packages covers every month of the year.
When to get your booking in
For November, the sweet spot for booking is four to six months out, roughly May to July. Book early, and you hold the hotels nearest the mosques and catch fares before the autumn climb. If avoiding crowds matters most to you, the middle two weeks of the month are usually the quietest.

November Umrah packages: frequently asked questions
What does a November Umrah package cost from the UK?
With Makkah Tour, November prices open at £915pp for a 7-night stay in 3-star hotels, covering flights, hotels in both cities, transfers and Nusuk visa support. A 14-night 5-star package runs to around £1,265 per person, with 4-star options in between.
Why is November a good month to go?
November threads the gap between the October half-term crowds and the December holiday rush, so you get cooler weather, more space around Masjid al-Haram, and lower prices than across most of the year. That mix tends to suit families and older pilgrims.
How far are the hotels from the Haram?
It depends on the tier you book. Our 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels are all a short walk from Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah, with 5-star properties generally the closest. We confirm the exact hotel and distance on your quote.
What does the package price include?
Return flights from the UK, a hotel in Makkah and a hotel in Madinah at your chosen standard, Nusuk visa support, all airport and inter-city transfers, guided Ziyarat, and a UK team on hand throughout. The finer detail shifts a little by tier.
Do I have to use Nusuk?
Yes. Saudi Arabia routes both the Umrah visa and the accommodation booking through the Nusuk platform. Our team guides your application and booking through it correctly.
Can a woman travel for Umrah without a mahram?
Yes. The rules now allow women aged 18 and over to perform Umrah with no mahram, and the visa does not ask for a mahram certificate. If you are travelling solo, ask us about joining a group departure.
Is a vaccination required?
Yes, the MenACWY meningitis vaccination, which every pilgrim must have and which needs to be done no fewer than 10 days before you fly. A GP surgery or travel clinic can administer it and issue the certificate you carry.
What should I take for a November trip?
Your Ihram, shoes you can walk long distances in, a few light layers for cooler evenings, a scent-free washbag, any medicines you rely on, and a refillable bottle. A compact prayer mat and a book of Umrah du'as are handy additions.
Should I choose November or December?
November generally wins on weather, price and crowd levels. December mainly makes sense when the winter school holidays lock your dates, and it usually costs more. Our December Umrah packages page lets you weigh the two side by side.
How far ahead should I book?
Aim for four to six months before you travel, so roughly May to July. Booking early holds the hotels nearest the mosques and beats the autumn fare rise. The quietest stretch of the month is normally its middle two weeks.
Can I pay for my November Umrah in instalments?
Yes. You can secure your booking with a deposit of just £49 and pay the balance in instalments before you travel. Ask our team to set up a payment plan when you request your quote.
